Dear Bulldog family:
This afternoon, a student made a threat to Altus Junior High after the school day had ended. Altus Public Schools Resource Officers and the Altus Police Department were swiftly notified. Officers responded quickly and began an investigation. No credible threat was found.
School will continue as normal on Wednesday, April 2.
Student and staff safety are our top priorities. Please talk with your student about the serious nature of threats, as well as his or her concerns or fears about the situation.
Thank you for your support of Altus Public Schools.
Sincerely,
