Altus Public Schools would like to notify you of a change in the District’s calendar that will occur on Friday, May 16. Altus Public Schools is required by law to be in session 1080 hours a school year. Due to the amount of time school has been released this year, Altus Public Schools is two hours short.
We will make up those two hours virtually on Friday, May 16, 2025. Classroom teachers will communicate expectations to students and parents through the Altus app in ROOMS. Teachers will be available to answer questions through the ROOMS app or school email.

AJH's Spring Assembly will be held tomorrow, May 6th at 1:15pm the gymnasium.

AJH presents an End of School Dance on Tuesday, May 6th from 6:30pm-8:30pm in the cafeteria. It is only open to AJH students and costs $5 to enter.

The AJHS Choir Dawgs received the Sweepstakes Award at the Heartland Music Festival this weekend. Our men received the Outstanding Section Award, and four of our girls received Outstanding Musician Awards! Congratulations, Choir Dawgs!

We are so thankful for the excellent care these ladies show our students and staff everyday! We were happy to celebrate School Cafeteria Staff Day this week and show them our appreciation.

This week AJH students got to enjoy snow cones and some beautiful weather to celebrate getting state testing completed. Special thanks to Ms. Drury and Mrs. Walling for all the hard work of getting everyone tested!
