As a tribute to Dolly Parton’s legacy, giving back, particularly to children, has been honored on September 25th as “Give Like Dolly Day.” 9/25
In support of Shortgrass Arts and Humanities Council, we are delighted to have the opportunity to allow a donations collection in between the first and second quarters of this Friday night’s 9/25 homecoming football game at THE ROCK!
Every donation will be dedicated to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Jackson County. Currently, they serve 811 children, which represents 36% of the eligible children in Jackson County. This program aims to provide free, age-appropriate books to children from birth to five years old, with the goal of increasing the number of books available to them.
We encourage everyone to take a moment to give like Dolly.

Altus High School is hosting an event to partner with parents and offer an awesome opportunity for freshmen.
The event will be held on Thursday, September 17th, at 6 PM in the AHS cafeteria.
We will give parents and students an overview of the ACT, the importance of the ACT, and an introduction of the ACT Online Mastery Prep tools. We will also discuss personalized steps the students and parents can take to help them meet and exceed their ACT goals.
If the parent and student decide to seize the opportunity, the student will be able to take the ACT 9 in the spring at AHS.
We look forward to seeing you there!
College App Day is Monday, Sept. 21! Seniors will have the opportunity to complete college applications with hands-on help throughout the day.

Altus Strength and Conditioning Program received a grant from @Southwest/Southland Dairy Farmers to supply chocolate milk to our student-athletes. The $3,800 grant provided nutrient-dense, after-workout drinks for all student-athletes participating in the Summer Pride Program. Students are pictured here with the Southwest/Southland Dairy Farmers banner, which will be on display this year at various athletic events.

Renewals for those who had Reserved Seats last year will continue through next Friday, September 4th.
Starting Tuesday, September 8th, Reserved tickets will go on sale to everyone.
Reserved Season Tickets = $60/seat
Individual Game Reserved Seat = $14
Individual Game General Admission = $5
Tickets can be bought at the Athletics Office Monday-Thursday from 8-3 and on Fridays from 8-12.
We are also selling Letterman's Passes ($25) and Student Passes ($40) again this year. Those can also be purchased in the Athletics Office.
