Please help us welcome Eryn Pool, band director of Altus Junior High for the 25-26 school year. Eryn Pool studied at Arkansas Tech University and the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music Education. Mrs. Pool is a woodwind specialist with saxophone being her primary instrument, and she has had extended study in clarinet and oboe. Mrs. Pool has served as the associate director at Muldrow Public Schools, where she oversaw all aspects of the junior high bands, conducted the high school concert band, and taught beginning woodwind classes. Mrs. Pool is an experienced colorguard instructor and led the guard in Muldrow’s back-to-back state marching band championships. Outside of her career, Mrs. Pool loves spending time with her husband, Adam, and their two children, Addison and John David. She also loves being a member of her church and playing in the church’s worship team. She enjoys disc golf, discovering new music, attending concerts, and reading a good book! Mrs. Pool can’t wait to discover what is in store for “That Altus Band”.
