Congratulations to the 2026 Frances Herron Award winner - Elysa Miranda. This annual award goes to the top all-around student at Altus High School.

Senior, Jane Socha was coined this morning by Lt. Col. Sheehan of the Civil Engineering squadron at AAFB after presenting her design for a new outdoor pavilion.
Jane has been an intern with the CE squadron as part of Altus High School’s new Class to Career Internship Program. She will attend the University of Oklahoma's School of Architecture in the Fall.

Congratulations to our April Top Dogs! Seniors are Jose Cerventes Rosas and Sierra Vallejo. Our juniors are Brodie Malseed and Gracie Gilbert. Sophomores are Evan DeBruyne and Nele Burgmaier, and our freshmen are Dallas Eichelberger and Claire Wigington.

Friday was Principal's Appreciation Day, and we would never pass up the opportunity to show off Mrs. Darby! We are thankful for your commitment and passion for the students at AHS!

Happy Cafeteria Workers Appreciation Day! We are thankful for everything you do to keep our cafeteria functioning and our student body fed!

Yesterday we hosted the Interview blitz for all Seniors. Seniors got the opportunity to learn and grow in interview skills by our local community partners!
