IT Appreciation Day

In Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG), students’ first project-based learning lesson was designing personalized plates. They started with a template of their birth or home license plate and were given a list of required items, such as a barrier they overcame, a dream career, hobbies, a quote, and a unique license plate number. They researched and reflected to design vibrant plates, which they then presented to judges, honing their self-reflection, critical thinking, and public speaking skills.

Prizes were provided by Starbucks, McDonald's, and Sonic. Each class received prizes for first, second, and third place.

Bulldogs,
It has come to our Attention that the Facebook Page named Photography School is continuing to impersonate other Altus Public Schools social media accounts. In addition, they have sent out invitations this week to a Facebook Channel titled Altus High School.
Neither of these accounts is affiliated with Altus Public Schools.
We need your assistance in stopping the spread of false information to our Bulldog community. Please report anything that does not come from an official Altus Public Schools account. You can do so by clicking the three dots to the right of a post or three dots under the cover photo.

As always, if you notice anything suspicious, please report it to an Altus Public School administrator.
Thank you for your continued support of Altus Public Schools.

Respectfully,
Amanda Davis
